According to the latest statistics, from January to February 2024, my country imported 239400 tons of cotton yarn, an increase of 55.35 percent year-on-year; exported 40800 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 5.19 percent; net imports were 198600 tons, an increase of 78.77 percent year-on-year.

In 2023/24, China imported 902600 tons of cotton yarn, an increase of 94.35 percent over the same period last year, while exports totaled 118300 tons, down 17.52 percent from the same period last year.
